Behind the Opportunity Wales initiative is a not-for-profit company called Better Business Wales (Holdings) Ltd.

The company itself is a partnership, backed by a number of public, private, voluntary and charitable sector organisations, each of whom have a seat on the company board.

The formal launch of Opportunity Wales took place in 2002 and, since then, several thousand small businesses across Wales have taken advantage of the services that we provide.
