Welcome to this summer's issue of WOWe, which focuses on rural business.

Not so long ago, rural business used to be largely agriculture based.  But eCommerce is making steady progress into even the most remote areas and bringing with it a new and dynamic rural environment.  No longer does a business need to be located close to its primary marketplace but can be wherever the proprietor chooses.  Of course, this doesn't apply to all businesses but it does apply to more than you might think.  This issue contains profiles of Welsh SMEs that have chosen a rural location together with views and advice from our industry experts.
