Add stock photos to your website

Whilst it is important not to go overboard and fill your Website with images, a few well chosen images can make your on-line presence look far more professional.  A quick glance around the Internet, including a look at your competitors site's, may well give you some ideas but how do you get suitable photographs to use ?

Unless you're a competent photographer and have access to models and props, you'll almost certainly need to use a stock photography site from whom you can buy images to use on your Website.

A quick search on Google for 'stock photographs' should turn up a good selection but there's one that we've been using here on Opportunity Wales for some time.  And the best part about it is that there are no charges - many photographs can be downloaded and used immediately whilst some need a credit to the photographer if used for commercial purposes.

Stock Exchange is a community of more than 9,000 photography addicts who generously offer their works to the public free of charge.  At the time of writing there were more than 170,000 images on-line and these can be searched by keyword.

To find out how to use these images on your site, click on the links to the left.
