Developing a Web site In-House
Introduction

This article has been written as a basic guide for businesses who are thinking about developing their own Web site. It doesn't examine the advantages or disadvantages of taking this route, but, rather, gives an overview of various options that are available.

It is common to find a similar basic structure on many initial Web sites containing information such as contact details, product/services offered, prices, company information, and, in some cases, customer references. A simple Web site which covers these areas is known as "brochure ware" and is often a copy of a current printed brochure, with the power to reach millions of potential customers.
