How are Welsh SMEs using and benefiting from Broadband Communications?

The Internet and the ability to trade and conduct business electronically, offer tremendous benefits and opportunities to Welsh SMEs. The higher speeds, and always-on access offered by Broadband services, are expected to have an even greater impact, and small businesses in particular could potentially benefit the most. Many large companies already have high-speed communications and Internet access via expensive dedicated leased lines. The advent of new lower-cost technologies, such as ADSL and cable, will bring these benefits within the reach of SMEs.

This article looks at just a small selection of the innovative ways Welsh SMEs are using Broadband communications to enhance and improve their business processes.
