Why eCommerce is relevant to SMEs by Martin Parfett, eCIC

In his presentation Martin explained that eCommerce is not just about selling on the Web.  His view is that eCommerce is much broader - if a business carries out some of its work electronically, for instance using eMail, then it can be thought of as using eCommerce.  He also looked at where Welsh SME's are with their use of eCommerce, the challenges and some successes.

Opportunity Wales: a clients view by Cath Howard, Lincoln House Hotel

In her presentation Cath outlined her hotel business and explained how Opportunity Wales helped by advising on the installation of a wireless broadband network which is available free of charge to all of her guests.  Opportunity Wales have also helped to put together a virtual tour of the hotel which illustrates some of the rooms that are available.
